Policies
Our No. 1 policy is respect for the land and its dwellers. We ask that visitors make everyone's stay more comfortable by respecting the following guidelines:
- Minimum Stay. It takes a couple of days to settle into the pace of our land. Therefore a 3-night-minimum stay is required for all holidays and a 2-night minimum for all other times.
-
Quiet Time. To accommodate all of our guests our Quiet Time begins at 10 pm. With the exception of live music at group events, no amplified music is allowed in the Retreat. Headphones are encouraged.
-
Pet Policy. We have adopted a "no pets policy" for our Retreat, and the band of Wild Turkeys, the flock of Quail , the occasional Pheasant, as well as our own chatty Chickens all appreciate it very much!
-
Smoking and Fire. Due to the danger of wildfires, there is a no smoking policy in the forest. Fire regulations are strict, and open flames are confined to official fire pits near the creek only.
-
Alcohol. Bring your own wine and beer. No hard liquor, please.
